Boss told me we make a "4-step-plan":
- post office (next to the Star Bucks)
- bank
- German butcher/baker
- musical in San Francisco (surprise, surprise)
Inside the city I thought I would go nuts. Most of the streets are only one way and there are bikes! But they can't handle them very well. But I am used to it, I know the Dutch.
He told me something about a movie that scared him when he was a little Bossy. And I still didn't have had a clue what he tried to tell me, couldn't connect the dots between the story and the musical.
After a few U-turns we found a parking area, sadly the ticket-machine was broken so we parked there for free. After he told me, he never had have parked this cheap before here.
A short but amazing walk later we stood in front of the musical theater:
WICKED
He remembered that one of my favourite movies is "The Wizard of Oz" so he took me in the "grown-up"-version: the witch is not that evil, only a misunderstood person like Darth Vader.
He bought our tickets and we went for dinner. I am still eating normal food instead of KFC, Mama (Macces), Burger King,... This time vergetarian Tortellinis. Little Emma was again the star. She took all the attention again. And she still feels very ashamed when this happens. She is very shy.
After that we still had have a bit time so he showed me the place where the UN was founded. Unlucky me I had have totally forgotten to update my Oregon so no geocaches done there so far.
The musical is founded in a very old theatre building. Beautiful ceiling, huge chandelier and very charming!
The show was also charming! I enjoyed it very much and was -again- completely happy. During the break he told me, he had seen the show for the 3rd time so far.
I dont want to tell you the story of the musical now, go and search on your own, if you want to know more about it. But if you ask me if you should watch it: GO FOR IT! It is fantastic!
